B U College of Education, First Muslim Minority Institute in Punjab, situated at Upoki (Uppal Kheri), Maler Kotla (Sangrur), has been established to impart instructions in teacher education leading to Two Years Diploma in Elementary Education (E.T.T.) / Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.) course with an aim to provide an excellent quality of Teacher Education to all the sections of the society including rural and minority community of the area.

B U College of Education is affiliated to State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Punjab, Chandigarh and approved by National Council for Teacher Education, Jaipur (NCTE) and Punjab State Government with sanctioned intake of 50 seats.

This institution has five well equipped learning Resource Centre i.e. Science & Mathematics Resource Centre, Psychology Resource Centre, Art & Craft Resource Centre, Health Education Resource Centre and I C T & Educational Technology Resource Centre with Internet Facility, well stocked Library with more than 2000 books including Flash Cards, Transparencies, Audio Visual Aids, National & International Journal and Magazines, Three Lecture Halls, One Multipurpose Hall with a seating capacity of 200, Play Grounds, student support services and other facilities to facilitate a world class Teacher Education for its students.

The institution has a proposal to introduce UG & PG courses in teacher education i.e. Bachelor degree in Education (B.Ed.) & Master degree in Education (M.Ed.) shortly. B U College of Education shall be a world class MODEL INSTITUTE OF TEACHER EDUCATION in future, INSHALLAH.
